Walleye Anglers Assoc. of Manitoba's 3rd Annual Ice Fishing Derby
Saturday Feb 13 2010
at the Float Plane base just north of Selkirk on Main St.
11:00 am - 3:00 pm
MAIN DERBY PRIZES
1st place-$1000.00 CASH
2nd place-$500.00 CASH
3rd place- $300.00 CASH
4th place- $200.00 CASH
5th place- $100.00 CASH
6th - 10th place- merchandise (valued at $75.00-$100.00)
YOUTH DERBY PRIZES
1st place- $100.00 CASH
2nd place-$75.00 CASH
3rd place-$50.00 CASH
4th place-$25.00 CASH
5th place-$15.00 CASH
ENTRY FEES
Adult $30.00 before Jan 31 (entered to win $200.00 or $100.00)
$40.00 after Jan 31
Youth (16 and under) $10.00
Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at...
Pro Am tackle - 655 Regent Ave. west
Wholesale Sports - 1225 St James st
Starfish Tackle - Hwy 44 + # 9 Lockport (beside Mohawk)
Mark Loan - Red River Community College (ph # 294-7014)
Smokies,chips,pop,hot chocolate and coffee available!
Holes will not be pre-drilled but we will have volunteers available to drill holes if you don't have your own auger.
2 holes allowed per person as per Manitoba fishing regulations.
Come out for a day of fun and fishing!!

LOCATION HAS CHANGED
Due to the fact that they have started working on fixing the boat launch at selkirk park,we are moving the derby down by the float plane base.
It will be set up just south of the "village"

Just an update...
We will be set up just north east of the "village" at the FPB.
We will start taking registrations at 9:00 and you will be allowed into the fishing area at 10:00
Shacks and flashers are permitted.
There will be a "gate check" upon entering so be prepared to open your coolers etc.
Parking will be available at the Float Plane base yard across the highway.
Just a reminder....
This is a family event so we ask that you do not use foul language.

Talking will have to wait until the Marathon Rhonda as my plans for Sat. have now changed.Will be hitting the big lake for my first evr hardwater adventure.
